Pride In ActionPride In Action

Pride in Action

Pride in Action - is more than just the name of Texas State’s capital campaign — it is a reflection of our educational history. This university’s pride goes all the way back to the late 19th century, when the idea of a first-class institution of higher education was taking shape in San Marcos. This pride continues today with a student body of more than 34,000, faculty and staff who devote their careers to excellence, and in the thousands of alumni and friends throughout the world whose support makes a difference in the lives of our students. Building on this pride is a campaign that identifies five current needs of the university and invites your supportive participation. Through the Pride in Action campaign, Texas State is focusing on the following pillars of need: Academic Excellence, Performing Arts, Alumni, Athletics, and the Library. Please visit each pillar for more information and how you can help us build our pride.
