Football Performance Center

An ambitious $37M renovation is currently in the design, programming, and fundraising phase, with the timeline for completion being fall 2024.

In order to elevate our football program, a complete renovation of the complex is needed to enhance our overall student-athlete experience and put us on par with our peers in the State of Texas and nationally.

  • 8,000sqft weightroom
  • 3,000sqft training room
  • 4,300sqft of meeting room spaces
  • 2 new hospitality spaces

The project will include a new weight room at 8,000 square feet, more than double the existing space, and a new training room with enhanced rehab equipment and hydrotherapy pools for the wellness of our student-athletes. The facility enhancement will also include new position meeting rooms for each unit, a new players

lounge, a coaches locker room, an expanded team locker room, and potentially a new hospitality area for gameday entertaining. Undoubtedly, this investment in our football program is needed in order to recruit and retain our student-athletes in order to compete for conference championships and bowl game appearances.
