Jerome Brooks


Jerome Brooks is the chief operating officer for South Texas Health System. He received a bachelor of healthcare administration from Texas State University in 2004. He later earned a master of science in healthcare administration from Trinity University in 2006. While attending Texas State, he played football and is a "T" Association letter recipient. 

Prior to joining South Texas Health System, Brooks was vice president at Endeavor Healthcare in New Braunfels. He has eight years of progressive experience in healthcare administrative positions at hospitals in Texas and Tennessee. He is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and a member of the Texas Hospital Association. He also is a member of the Texas State Alumni Association.
