Donor Services Mission

Donor Services' mission is to support the Texas State University-San Marcos’ advancement goals of building and maintaining relationships by administering, with integrity, the acceptance and processing of all gifts, ensuring that contributions are receipted and acknowledged in a timely manner, as well as ensuring that donor requests or wishes are honored.

Donor Services manages pledge and gift entry, pledge billing, and gift and pledge payments receipting and mailing. Donor services employ endowment compliance policies and procedures in acceptance, management, reporting, amendment and compliance of endowments for three separate entities (Texas State University-San Marcos, The Texas State University-San Marcos Development Foundation and the Emmett and Miriam McCoy College of Business administration Foundation) that hold and manage endowment accounts benefiting Texas State University-San Marcos. In addition, Donor Services generates various fundraising and accounting reports.
