
Pride in Action is more than just the name of Texas State’s capital campaign — it is a reflection of our educational history.
This university’s pride goes all the way back to the late 19th century, when the idea of a first-class institution of higher education was taking shape in San Marcos. This pride continues today with a student body of more than 34,000, faculty and staff who devote their careers to excellence, and in the thousands of alumni and friends throughout the world whose support makes a difference in the lives of our students.
