Donors can help Texas State undergraduate and graduate students by giving them a better opportunity to succeed through a variety of scholarships and programs. Your gift can be directed to students that meet certain academic criteria, students that have an economic need, or students who are from underrepresented groups. Your scholarship can be tailor-made to support any area of the university that you desire, or you can give to an existing scholarship that aligns with your wishes. Scholarships can be endowed or non-endowed.
Individuals wishing to make a lasting gift to Texas State University may wish to create an endowment. Endowments may be used to permanently fund scholarships, graduate fellowships, professorships, or provide a permanent source of funding for a particular program. Gifts made in the form of endowments are combined and invested in the overall university endowment investment pool. Earnings from that investment pool are used to fund the particular area that the donor desires.
