Goal 2 Intended Outcomes


Increase personal visits.

  1. 14 personal visits a month – Development purposes.
  2. 3 to 5 personal visits a month – News Services purposes.
  3. All other University Advancement staff – 3 personal visits per month.
  4. Advisory groups to meet quarterly (Development, Community, Alumni).

 

Broaden interactions with constituents.

  1. Target events focusing on university priorities
  2. Hillviews content and design expansion with more targeted distributions.
  3. Utilize giving societies to elevate contributions and recognize donors.
  4. Utilize focus groups to discuss strategies and build regional interests.
  5. Expand and/or strengthen alumni chapter development.

 

Increase opportunities for constituents to become better informed about “today’s” Texas State.

  1. Build functional, user-friendly UA website.
  2. Increase campus visits.
  3. Maintain weekly news services comments.
  4. Create separate link for Currents on university website (under Faculty/Staff).
  5. Post, update and maintain Development Foundation website.
  6. Post, update and maintain Retired Faculty Staff Association website.
  7. Strategically position traditional events and initiate new focused events on and off campus.
  8. Post, update, and maintain community relations electronic newsletter
  9. Collaborate to develop a functional university calendar.

 

Create and maintain networks of individuals.

  1. Utilize alumni finder to update contact information (e-mail, postal, deceased, etc.).
  2. Advisory councils, alumni chapters, legislative networks, and all university organizations should be used as connectors/links.
  3. Provide on-going training to established groups.
  4. Continue to use wealth screening and other prospect research tools.
