Robert Doerr is an account executive and commercial lines manager at TCOR Management in New Braunfels, a firm providing enterprise-wide risk management to middle market companies. Prior to his tenure at TCOR, he worked as a commercial lines underwriter at Hartford, a leader in property and casualty insurance, group benefits and mutual funds. Doerr is a certified and licensed risk manager as well as a certified insurance counselor.
In 2003, Doerr received a bachelor of business administration from Texas State University in finance. While at Texas State, he served in Student Government as a senator and then as president his senior year. He led the effort to change the name of the university in 2003, as well as the implementation of Students with Alternative Transportation (SWAT) and Bobcat Build programs. Doerr was also a member of the American Advertising Federation and Residential College for Brogdon Hall.
Doerr is a former board member of the San Marcos Neighborhood Commission and former director-at-large with the Alumni Association Board of Directors. He also is a member of the Finance and Economics Advisory Council at the McCoy College of Business Administration.
