Richard Griffin earned a bachelor of science degree in physics with a minor in mathematics from Texas State University in 2006 and his master of business administration from the Haslam College at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville in 2016.
He serves as the director of commercial operations at FairfieldNodal, a seismic service company located in Houston specializing in oil and gas exploration. Through his career, Griffin has gained technical experience as a seismic geophysicist, operational experience as the supervisor of onboard operations, and business experience as the manager of project development. His work experience combined with his PMP and MBA enabled Griffin to become the director of commercial operations.
Due to of his strong support of education, Griffin established the Griffin Family Endowment Scholarship in 2015. His other passions include photography, rock climbing and travel.
