Heroes are idealists, visionaries who dream noble dreams. Our Texas State heroes are those people who have helped us step forward to meet the needs of the state, the nation and the world while meeting the needs of individuals and their futures. The names of some of these heroes are chiseled into the stone of buildings, but all of them are chiseled into the heart and history of Texas State University.
