History of the Victory Star
• In December 1936 it was placed on top of the old water tower during the holiday season.
• In 1942 a night watchman found it and placed it back on the water tower. He started turning it on whenever the Bobcats won a football game.
• When the water tower was replaced the star was moved to the top of Jackson Hall, where it stands today.
