Lighting the Way
Did you know?
• Tuition and fees cover only half of the cost of our education at Texas State.
• The state of Texas covers another 30 percent.
• This leaves a large gap that private support must fill.
As students, we want to do our part and show our pride. We are joining together as Bobcats to support Texas State in our Lighting the Way campaign. We’re collecting gifts from all current students to replace the victory star on top of Jackson Hall.
Our new star will be bigger and better, and will shine for miles each time there is a Texas State athletic or academic victory or special Bobcat celebration. It will be the constant reminder of student pride, dedication and accomplishments.
Consider a gift…
• You can make a gift of any amount, but we suggest a gift of $25 broken into five monthly payments of $5 a month or a leadership level gift of $100 which can be broken into eight monthly payments of $12.50 a month.
o Everyone who gives at the $100 leadership level will receive a special Texas State padded portfolio as a thank you gift from the Alumni Association once the gift has been paid in full.
